White Mirror is a Twilight Zone-style sci-fi film that follows Jamal Nenge, a young Black game designer, who gets mystically sucked into a mirror and transformed to look like a white man. As he interviews for his dream job, he comes face to face with covert racism. Jamal has to decide which skin he wants to spend the rest of his life in.

Premiere
White Mirror premiered at the George Mason University Film at Mason Showcase in May of 2022. The film took home 6 awards, including Best of Fest, Audience Award, Best Short Screenplay, Best VFX, Best Score, and Best Actor (Excellence In Acting).

Writer/Director, Taj Kokayi also received the Best Pitch Delivery Award for the film at the Fall 2021 Film at Mason Showcase. White Mirror is Kokayi's thesis project at George Mason University.
